If you are following us on Twitter you probably already know about most of these things, but for those of you who don’t I’m writing a round-up post to fill you in on all the latest on Nico and “Scream 4”, including all the major events from this past weekend up until the first day of filming yesterday.
The weekend started off on a bad note when Lake Bell confirmed via her Twitter account that due to scheduling conflicts she has to back out and will no longer play Deputy Judy Hicks in the fourth “Scream” movie. No word yet on who will ultimately get the role.
In the evening of Friday (June 25) Nico and co-star Hayden Panettiere visited Salon Vox in Ann Arbor, most probably to get their hair cut for the movie. Nico worked with stylist Justin A. Nichols and “Scream 4” hairstylist Joy Zapata.
On Saturday June 26, filming officially began for Neve Campbell and Access Hollywood’s Nancy O’Dell (appearing as a host in a cameo role). Nancy posted some lovely photos from the set on her TwitPic account.
Over the weekend blogs went literally crazy reporting possible locations for the movie: On Location Vacation and Before The Trailer reported that they are occupying several building in Varsity Drive in Ann Arbor (probably a base camp/studio – with a production office located on 4401 Varsity Road, Suite D). Trailers and crew signs were spotted yesterday at St. Francis Church/School on Stadium/St. Francis street. Filming will take place at the middle school in Dearborn (4951 Ternes Street) from June 29 through the 2nd, then again on the 6th and 9th from 5am til 10pm. For more information and last-minute heads up make sure you are following Before The Trailer and Scream-Trilogy.net on Twitter.
A couple of fan photos and videos from yesterday (Monday June 28) leaked online. You can see Hayden Panettiere and Emma Roberts filming a car scene, follow this link. If you live in Michigan and are interested in “visiting” the set, follow the “Z Project” signs, a codename for the movie.
Make sure you are following Nico-Tortorella.com on Twitter for all the latest. I don’t feel like posting too much on here when it’s not directly related to Nico, so I’ll just write a post like this from time to time to summarize what’s happening in Ann Arbor.
