The last two episodes of Younger were super insane, and the ending left Liza with a few huge choices. And one involved Josh. Naturally, we had a lot of questions for Nico Tortorella.

Lets jump right in to that last speech. Josh says Im all in. Every girl in America cheered. What do you think made Josh change his mind?
I think he had reservations about her. He was playing the field with Greta, and the time of sadness when they found each other again sh-t happened. He came to the conclusion, hes willing to put up with whatever it is to be with her. If that means lying, whatever, so be it. He loves her.

Do you think Liza and Josh realistically could be together?
Yeah! I hope so! This lie of hers will only last for so long; its unrealistic to think shes going to be hiding this forever. She has made plenty of sacrifices. Time is telling that being true to herself, being authentic is the thing to do, is the most important. Also, the show is about powerful women running sh-t in New York, which is great but if she has to do it pretending to be someone, its kind of a step back!

What do you think Josh wants to happen next season?
I think when he looked at her a few episodes back and said, Lets get married and have kids, that was kind of a real thing. I think he sees that with her. I want to see a Josh and Liza baby! I think it would just be some great TV! She gets pregnant. She wont know what to do by season five, theyre raising a babe.

Who should find out Lizas secret next?
Kesley. In all of this, the two of them have gotten so close, she has to tell her, in my eyes. Shes like doing injustice to all of women by not telling her.

Do you think Liza tell Josh about Charles?
Not right this second. We ended on a little bit of a cliffhanger, but I dont think she did anything wrong; Josh has been dating this other girl, she walked in on us having sex and I threw her out the window. Hes not in a place to be upset or worry about her making out with some tall dude.

Should she tell Josh, though? Wouldnt she and Charles make sense more?
Theyd make sense yeah but life doesnt make sense all the time, and love doesnt make sense all the time thats the beauty in this relationship.

There was SO much insanity this season. Which was the most surprising to you?
I mean hands down Matthew Morrison f-cking a sheep is the most shocking thing ever written. However, to me, the most surprising thing that happened is that no none else has found out that shes forty.
