Nico Tortorella (Younger), Jemima Kirke (Sex Education), Ashley Zukerman (The Lost Symbol), Xavier Clyde (Hard), Max Milner (The Dirt), Alexandra Doke (Greys Anatomy), Omid Abtahi (The Mandalorian), Kathleen Munroe (FBI) and John Cameron Mitchell (Joe vs. Carol) round out the ensemble cast for Apple TV+s upcoming drama series City on Fire. They join previously announced Chase Sui Wonders and Wyatt Oleff, who star in the series inspired by Garth Risk Hallbergs novel of the same name, from Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. Production is underway in New York City.
In City on Fire, an NYU student is shot in Central Park on the Fourth of July, 2003. Samantha is alone; there are no witnesses and very little physical evidence. Her friends band is playing her favorite downtown club but she leaves to meet someone, promising to return. She never does. As the crime against Samantha is investigated, shes revealed to be the crucial connection between a series of mysterious citywide fires, the downtown music scene, and a wealthy uptown real estate family fraying under the strain of the many secrets they keep.
Tortorella is William, a brilliant, but self-destructive artist living in Manhattan.

EXCLUSIVE: Nico Tortorella (Younger, The Walking Dead: World Beyond), Juan Pablo Di Pace (Fuller House, Mamma Mia!), Emmy nominee Carl Clemons-Hopkins (Hacks, Candyman) and Emily Hampshire (Schitts Creek, Chapelwaite) have signed on to star in The Mattachine Family, a drama executive produced by Zach Braff (Going in Style, Garden State). The film is currently in production.
The first feature from video and commercial director Andy Vallentine centers on the relationship between Thomas (Tortorella) and Oscar (Di Pace). While the pair are very much in love, they find, after their first foster child returns to his birth mother, that they have different ideas about what it means to make a family.
Vallentine is directing from a script by his husband Danny Vallentine, which is based on a story by the pair.
Jake Choi (Lust Life Love, Single Parents), Annie Funke (This Is Us, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders), Heather Matarazzo (The Princess Diaries, Welcome to the Dollhouse) and Cloie Wyatt Taylor (Yes Day, Shameless) will round out the cast of the film, which Andy Vallentine is producing with Mike Diaz, Scot Boland, Siddharth Ganji and Cameron Hutchison.

In a move reminiscent of last years Comic-Con@Home, The Walking Dead: World Beyond on Saturday unveiled the premiere date for its second and seemingly final season. The limited-series spinoff that follows the first generation raised in the post-apocalyptic world will return to AMC on October 3.
